New York, NY – October 29, 2018 – Sentiance, the motion intelligence company, today announced that it has been recognized in the October 2018 “Cool Vendors in Automotive and Smart Mobility” report by Carsten Isert and Jonathan Davenport at Gartner, Inc. The report evaluates interesting, new and innovative vendors, products and services in the automotive and smart mobility market “that CIOs should watch with a view to make their products more personalized and generate a convincing emotional experience.”
Sentiance’s motion intelligence platform turns Internet-of-Things (IoT) sensor data into rich insights about people’s behavior and real-time context. These insights enable automotive and smart device companies to create more holistic pictures of the journeys of their customers and easily adapt to their behaviors in real-time.
Gartner’s report points out, “Creating engaging, highly automated mobility solutions requires a clear understanding of what humans are doing,”
The report also provides recommendations for mobility professionals to take their strategies forward, such as:
- Enhancing mobility solutions with innovative components that leverage AI technologies such as personalization, prediction, human understanding and more efficient development.
- Designing personalized mobility customer experiences inside the vehicle, but also extend them along the digital customer journey by using advanced AI algorithms and individual customer data.
“It is a unique honor to be named a Gartner Cool Vendor,” said Toon Vanparys, CEO of Sentiance. “The foundations of the mobility space are being disrupted and those who know exactly when, where and why their customers need transportation will win the biggest share of mobility market in the next 10 years. Detection and prediction of individual user behavior, especially as it relates to mobility, is a necessity for anyone developing personalized mobility solutions.”
We feel the information provided in the report is of value to all automotive and smart mobility professionals who are seeking new ways to personalize products and create more convincing emotional experiences for users.
