ANTWERP, Belgium, and TORONTO, Canada (April 26th, 2018) – Sentiance, a global AI-powered leader in behavioral intelligence, opens its new Canadian R&D center and welcomes the Kiwi.ai team, specialized in artificial intelligence focused on motion, emotion, and behavior change recognition, into the fold.
Sentiance, who already has offices in Antwerp, New York, London, Shanghai and Lithuania, is now establishing a new Canadian base in Toronto. The team of Kiwi.ai is joining Sentiance as part of the newly-established Canada-based R&D center, which will focus on developing on-device machine learning capabilities. Sentiance’s new Toronto office also allows the company to tap into the growing AI talent in Canada.

The local tech community in Toronto will also fuel the expansion plans of Sentiance to increase the local team over the coming years.

Sentiance worked with the Ontario Investment Office who provided valuable insights in the AI ecosystem in place in the Province. In addition, the Ontario Investment Office also helped with the incorporation of the new entity.
