Sentiance’s system compares a rider’s actual route against the legal direction of travel and flags repeated wrong-way movement with high accuracy, while filtering out unreliable signals.
For last-mile delivery platforms managing large populations of two-wheel riders, the solution provides visibility into which drivers most frequently engage in risky behavior and where these events occur. This allows safety and operations teams to take targeted action-such as coaching, policy updates, or route adjustments-to reduce accidents, avoid fines, and strengthen compliance with local traffic laws.
Wrong-Way Riding Detection integrates seamlessly into existing delivery and mobility platforms and is designed for scalable rollout across regions and markets. The feature is available as part of Driving Insights Premium and is reported separately as a risky event per trip, supporting monitoring and learning without directly impacting driver scores.
